As I mentioned earlier, I do suggest that those going for the first time stay on the Strip to get the full experience, you do have the option of Fremont Street. Hotels here are going to be cheaper, smaller, closer together, and the casinos have lower table limits and machine denominations. . Definitely some benefits. You will also more likely see more partial nudity and more homeless on Fremont. I do suggest taking a day at least to check it out. Many people prefer it to the Strip. Others absolutely hate it. I will leave it up to you to decide. An analogy I like to use is if the Strip is your local shopping mall then Fremont is your local Wal-Mart. Expect to see an entirely different class of patrons. Personally I love it, except for the crowds on weekend evenings. If that’s your thing, you may like it. This is just a short introduction to Fremont.
