Handicapped Accessible Las Vegas
Las Vegas is very handicap friendly. If you or someone in your party has mobility issues then there are several options for you. Most of the hotels have preferred mobility scooter services they use. You can just call the bell desk wherever you are staying and make arrangements through them. There are others as well that you can make arrangements to have a scooter waiting for you at the bell desk upon arrival. Prices vary by length of stay and the model of the scooter you desire. Several of the taxi companies have scooter/wheelchair accessible vans that you can arrange if you want to get off the strip somewhere. The monorail, city buses, and the free trams are easy to use as well. Just follow the signs for the elevators near any escalators or stairs you approach. The issue you will likely have the most is that some properties don't have automatic doors (especially the older ones on Fremont) You may have to get a little inventive to open a door if no one is around to help.
