When To Go To Las Vegas?
The first decision is to decide when you should go. Definitely consider that it may take you several months to fully prepare for your trip if you follow all the suggestions in this book. First let’s discuss the weather in Las Vegas. Being in the middle of the Mojave Desert, it definitely can get hot in the summer. From June until September 100 plus degree days are very likely. Yes, it’s a dry heat with little humidity, but 110 degrees is still hot. If you come from a more humid area then it may not seem as bad. Honestly there are times when it’s over 100 degrees and I’m’ more comfortable than I am at home when it’s 85 degrees with high humidity. If you are a pool person, you definitely want to go between April and Early October when the pools are generally open while avoiding June, July, and August if you are concerned that the heat will be too much.
Another factor to consider, especially if you are flying, is the weather where you live. If you have bad winters, you may not see snow in Las Vegas, though they do get some, but you don’t want to fly to Las Vegas and have issues getting home if your flight gets canceled because a snowstorm has hit your home airport. So consider late spring until late fall if this applies to you.
